Angaben zur Abhaltung
This course is for students who have already achieved an advanced Level in German. In Advanced German we want to improve the Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing skills of each student but will focus mainly on Speaking. We will do this through conversations in class and through presentations.
Another element of this course is to learn about Austria, its people and its culture. For this, students will study different aspects of Austrian life and have the opportunity to go on a theatre trip with the class.
As this is a mixed ability class the progress each individual makes will be down to the student’s self-directed learning. We want each student to progress in all areas of the language from the level that they started. Therefore the objectives of this course will be different for each student. The student’s individual objective will be decided between themselves and the teacher in regards to the needs of that student. This course is designed around self-directed learning and therefore whatever you put into the course, you will get out of it.
German (primary), English

This is an active class that requires much participation from the individuals attending. Students will progress through group work and individual work but will more importantly progress through self-directed learning. This allows each student to progress at their own level and speed, giving the course an element of flexibility. All students are expected to immerse themselves in the German language, actively using it in and outside of college.
Für die Anmeldung zur Teilnahme müssen Sie sich in PH-Online als Studierende*r identifizieren.
